Inside established companies.
Charly's career began in financial planning and analysis inside structured organisations: Netatmo, L'Oréal and PepsiCo. That's where he learned how a mature finance function is built, and how much structure it takes to run one.
- 02
Inside a growing SaaS company.
He then spent 5+ years at AssessFirst, post-LBO, structuring and running the finance function: business plan, budget and cash forecasting, sales incentives, order-to-cash, automation, and reporting to the executive committee and investors. The full width of finance in a company that is moving fast.
- 03
What it taught him.
Growing companies rarely need more finance people first. They need the right capabilities, connected properly, with someone accountable for the result.
- 04
The approach.
Understand the business before the numbers. Automate what is repetitive. Keep judgment human. Measure the work by what changes, not by what gets reported.
- 05
Why Botakman.
Botakman exists to offer that combination as a service, so ambitious companies can access experienced finance work without first building an entire department.

How we work together.
Directly. You work with Charly, not with a rotating team. Scope, responsibilities and rhythm are agreed upfront and adjusted as the business evolves.
“Whatever you sell, the business runs on finance. Growth and profit start here.
